Web2. feb 2024 · I grafted persimmon last February with 4/6 takes. Rootstock was still dormant. The scions were the first to lead out before the inter stock (grafted onto already grafted tree) . I will defer to those with more experience but my personal experience was it was really easy to do and rootstock dormancy really didnt seem to affect me.
