WebMar 24, 2024 · For some reason tho, the game starts but before getting to the launcher, it just shuts down. I managed to circumvent this problem by creating a copy of the executable file, added "-issteam" to the properties and the game launches again, but without steam overlay. To this day, trying to play from steam doesn't work. Websince playing FFXIV on DX11 i've noticed my steam overlay no longer works. Works fine if I use the DX9 version but just can't get it to work on DX11. I also am using Gshade shaders on my game to make it look pretty if that potentially is causing any issue. Rename your d3d11.dll inside the game folder to dxgi.dll and it should work again.
